COX. 020 Powered SKYCOPTER Helicopter, Never Flown, Box, Paperwork, 1978 Model
Has original box, complete paperwork, original parts and original decals!!! There are no fuel stains in the box or on the paperwork – very rare!!!!! This was started but never assembled or flown. Engine has been cleaned, overhauled and glow plug is tested! Nice pop from the engine. These had a major design flaw in that the small gas tank was made of a plastic that oxidized in aging and the gas tanks typically crack, even in models that are left in the box. The fuel line tension often breaks the inlet nozzle, which was how this was found in an estate sale!!! This has been fitted with a new, AFTERMARKET, 3-D printed fuel tank that is better than the original!!!!! Look at all photographs and ask questions. A true blast from the past!!!
