1960’s Cox 1:20 gas powered vintage tether car Chevrolet Chaparral #65 race car with original box made in USA. This car has gas can, tools and instructions included. Engine turns with compression. Car has some light yellowing and fuel residue but looks lightly used. Outside box shows storage wear and repair. This winning car is a popular example, great survivor and a nice add to any collection in this condition. Cars is about 9 inches long and has great details. This is one of the most innovative race cars and race teams in the business. Known for their first of a kind automatic transmissions, movable wings, and ground sucking devises. Phil Hill, Jim Hall and Hap Sharp won races all over the World and were the talk of Racing World in the sixties and seventies. 1965 Roger Penske was their first crew chief when they first beat all the big Factory Teams at Sebring. Cox Gas Powered Meyers Manx Dune Buggy Runs Original Box And Manuals
Thank you for taking the time to view this COX – GAS POWERED MEYERS MANX DUNE BUGGY – ORIGNAL BOX and MANUALS. The engine runs well. The car is in GOOD codition with minor imperfections. The tires are a little flat spotted due to sitting for many years. The chrome is starting to show its age but still presentable and it is missing the driver side headlight lens. The original box shows minor shelf wear with some scuffing, bending, tearing and writing. (Please view all of the pictures). VERY HARD TO FIND!! Check out my other items. COX. 020 Powered SKYCOPTER Helicopter, Never Flown, Box, Paperwork, 1978 Model
Cox 1978 Skycopter 020 (pee wee) powered free flight helicopter that was found in an estate sale that was Fueled but Never Assembled or Flown – blades have not been attached and decals are on card! It has original box, complete paperwork, and original decals!!! There are no fuel stains in the box or on the paperwork – very rare!!!!! Engine has been cleaned, COX lubed, overhauled, new 020 fuel line and glow plug is tested! Nice pop from the engine. These had a major design flaw in that the small gas tank was made of a plastic that oxidized in aging and the gas tanks typically crack I have had 2 that have broken on assembly with new fuel line, even in models that are left in the box. The fuel line tension often breaks the inlet nozzle, which was how this was found in an estate sale!!! This has been fitted with a new, AFTERMARKET, 3-D printed fuel tank that is better than the original!!!!! Look at all photographs and ask questions. A true blast from the past!!!
