Boxed complete 1953 ED RACER 2.46cc diesel engine including all papers
A superb original and all complete ED RACER 2.46cc Mark III Series 2 diesel engine from 1953. Comes in it’s original box with both internal inserts, all original paperwork from ED including the settings card. Engine has beautiful anodising, turns over with smooth bearings and has excellent compression. Should make for a nice running example with nothing broken or bent! The owner treated his engine’s with respect or hardly used them! The engine serial number matches the box and guarantee card, it’s all together and original which is the hardest thing to find for the decerning collector of these fantastic ED RACER engine’s. Still one of my favourite engine’s ever as they run so well, easy to start and have a significant proven contest winning history. One of Basil Miles finest designs for ED. Price reflects the fact that this engine is all complete as originally bought almost 69 years ago!
