Vintage 1960s COX THIMBLE DROME L-4 GRASSHOPPER Airplane IN ORIGINAL BOX Army
This is an original, Vintage 1963 COX THIMBLE DROME L-4 GRASSHOPPER Airplane IN ORIGINAL BOX. The plane is in great condition – complete and intact. The only flaws I could find are the windshield is cracked on one side and there is a crack in the plastic on the bottom just behind the engine (see pics). The engine turns over smoothly/properly. The box is in Excellent condition. I could only find 3 small (1 or less) tears on the lid and it is intact and has kept its form (no significant denting).
